October 31–November 7, 2013: Open cluster Stock 2 in Cassiopeia is an excellent target for naked-eye and binocular observers, the Sailboat Cluster (NGC 225) in Cassiopeia offers small-telescope owners nice views, and large-telescope owners can seek out spiral galaxy NGC 247 in Cetus.
