The Sun - Ohio imager John Chumack sent in this report: X-ray class flares are erupting from sunspot 1748. There have been four in the past two days! The Sun is still active! After receiving alerts from NASA’s 3-D Sun app notifying me of the flares, I took a quick look at the Sun through a Hydrogen-alpha filter and then captured the new sunspot 1748 with crackling loop flares coming around the eastern limb. The large sunspot is #1745. I also captured a very long prominence on the western limb. Wow! Really nice to see the Sun ramping it up a bit.
