I present portable planetarium programs at our public library and often use the animal constellations to teach the very young visitors. They choose what kind of animal they "are" and I tell a Native American story and then we see what the anmals created in the sky...looking for ones they picked plus others.

i rushed to see this new episode and i have a book about the 88 constellations. but i can still only recognize maybe 3 of them, Orion being the number one. i like the nice dogs haha but i didnt see Ayla the cat (i must have taken a break) so i will review the episode again. thanks again for the new episode and the humor, you guys are great!

My favorite less well known animal constellation is Lepus. I can see how it looks like a rabbit, but to me it looks more like a butterfly. Either way, I imagine that Lepus is sitting quietly in the grass almost under Orion's feet.
