I would not buy this mount. I saw one at OPT and was disappointed by the quality. It might work for visual use, but there is No way, it would work well for deep-sky astrophotography. There is over a half inch of play in the gears with a slight push. I have a LX-90 mount, and is great for visual, but useless for deep sky photography. On a positive note, you can shoot the planets and moon, because you are taking multiple frames per second, and not long exposures. I would recommend looking at the mount in person before buying.

I am looking for a Go-To mount. The Meade LX80 almost fits my budget, but sofar I haven't seen 100% positive reviews.

They look nice, I had my eye on the LX800 mount, but with the quality control and the price, it's a gamble. My first LX200GPS had problems the first day, sent it back for repairs. I'll wait or go to a different mount that is more reliable.
