It’s time to get a new generation excited about amateur astronomy. The Astronomy Foundation is a nonprofit organization comprising individuals, institutions, clubs, and businesses. Its aim is to spread interest in astronomy to young people who may never have looked through a telescope or realized their place in the cosmos. Through a wide range of activities, the foundation will spread interest and enthusiasm for amateur astronomy as we hold stargazing events, promote classroom activities, and share the fun of observing the universe from our own backyard.
